A Letter from Justin & Kelli
Hi! Thank you for considering us for your child. We are an outgoing and compassionate couple excited to start our family as first-time parents through adoption. As a Christian couple and enjoy staying active outdoors, hosting family and friends into our home, and serving others through local and international missions. We are excited to get to know you and would be honored to share our love for adventure and compassion with your child.
We met online in 2011 and have been together ever since! We spend our spare time relaxing at the lake, having dinner and playing games with family and friends, traveling, and volunteering to help children in Thailand. On a day-to-day basis, we enjoy making dinners at home, exercise and staying physically fit, sitting on our front porch, and taking evening walks. We have a close-knit family and caring network of friends who we consider family – all of whom are excited and supportive as we expand our family through adoption.
Justin cares about and sees the best in people. He is a natural with children, and they adore him! At family events, he is the first to hold a newborn baby or get down to play with toddlers. Justin is a good provider and creates a stable, peaceful, and stable environment for our family. He has a gift of leadership, which has been especially helpful in his teaching and law enforcement career. He is great at maintaining finances and loves keeping our home clean and organized. Justin is outgoing, social, and accepting. He will be a loving, attentive dad, and he’s excited to share his love for life with our child!

Kelli is passionate, caring, and very self-aware. She makes our home a peaceful place. Her personality is warm, easy-going, humble, patient, and hard-working. Kelli works from home full time; she loves learning about wellness and holistic health, working with lots of data, traveling, and exploring new perspectives and cultures. She takes particular interest and awe in nature and landscapes, especially sunrises and sunsets. Kelli gives much of herself to her family. I know she will be a wonderful mother, and she is excited to share her passions with our child.

We live in rural Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes! Our home is a modern rambler in a quiet, family-friendly, and safe neighborhood. It has a spacious family room, kitchen, deck for grilling, front and back porches, and a large private backyard. Our home and yard is ideal to safely play games, run around, and enjoy the outdoors. We live near private and public schools, many walking trails and parks, and recreational lakes.
We enjoy hosting our extended families and close friends in our home. Together, we have been creating new and different traditions during the holidays and birthdays. With our family, we have started local holiday volunteer projects and an annual grilled-pizza cookout. Both families are from and still live in Minnesota! On summer weekends, we head up north to the lake to spend more time with extended family, including many nieces and nephews. We are excited to include your child in our family and friend activities and traditions for years to come.
We promise to provide a happy, peaceful, relaxed, and joy-filled home with unconditional love and encouragement. When life brings challenges, we promise to bring hope and demonstrate the importance of family, friends, and faith for ultimate fulfillment and balance. We will provide a healthy childhood routine and lifestyle while instilling the values of honesty, respect, gratitude, responsibility, and integrity.
We promise to tell their adoption story, so they grow up knowing our love as well as your love too! You would always hold a special place in our family. We will maintain contact with you through letters, pictures, videos, phone calls, and visits.

|More About Our Family|
We have grown such a heart for helping families and children in need after volunteering to serve in Thailand. It's important to us that we include our future children in our volunteer work, to help them learn compassion, kindness, and the value of giving back to those in need. Whether it's at home or overseas, we cherish opportunities to step in with the gifts we've been given, to see how we can help others with sincere and caring hearts.
We are a Christian couple and believe God called us to love Him and others by way of actions more than words. We are active in our church, taking an opportunity to help others through local and international mission work. We believe it is not enough to know people need love, but to give love. We believe our faith will guide us on raising your child in love and sustaining a healthy marriage to support him/her.
|More About Our Home|
Our favorite place to be is home! Our cozy home is within city limits but offers much space and privacy on a ravine lot with large back yard and matured trees. We are blessed to have both young and older families surrounding us. In the summertime, we enjoy our front and back porches. Kelli has a garden where she grows tomatoes, peppers, onions, and fresh herbs (to name a few). Justin is the grill-master and keeps our yard nice and tidy. During the winter, we look forward to building snow forts and sledding with your child. In the summer, we can't wait to get our wiggles out, play ball and hide-and-seek!
We have two friendly and affectionate cats - Nala and Bansai. They are both very good with children and a joyful part of our lives.
